We named Tucci in honor of our great-grandmother, Mary Matteucci (who was always known as "Grandma Tucci"). Grandma Tucci was a 50-year employee of the Lido di Venezia, a well-known restaurant in the hub of Portland's old Italian community. She was a waitress, cook, dishwasher, gardner, and most of all, a consummate host, both at the Lido and at home when cooking and serving family and friends.
