LOCAL IN SOURCE - ITALIAN IN SPIRIT

Inspired by our Italian heritage, our love of cooking, our love of eating, and our respect of locally grown foods, we opened Tucci in November of 2002 here in our home town of Lake Oswego.  We named Tucci in honor of our great-grandmother, Mary Matteucci (known as “Grandma Tucci”), who was a 50-year employee of the Lido di Venezia, a well-known Italian restaurant located in the hub of Portland’s old Italian community.  Grandma Tucci was a cook, a waitress, a dishwasher, and most of all, a consummate host, both at the Lido and at home when feeding family and friends.  

Fifteen years a mainstay, we at Tucci continue our family tradition to bring you good, wholesome food and drink in an inviting, comfortable, and stylish atmosphere.  As Grandma Tucci would always say… Mangiare!

OUR KITCHEN TEAM

Executive Chef Kurt Spak and Sous Chef Jim Williamson head up our talented kitchen team with combined decades of experience.  Always focusing on seasonal fare, our creative crew work very hard to bring our customers some of the best Italian-inspired food in the Portland area. Additionally, Chef Kurt continually shares his Master Pasta skills with the team, and will often prepare one of his favorites as a nightly special.  Look for his agnolotti, gnocchi, tajarin, ravioli, tortellini, fusilli, or another of his pasta specialties on a lucky night!
